G’day,
Just taking a look at the personal page..
I’m almost motivated to try the same..
I see you’ve got a .tk domain. Good value eh.
(by Ken - www.dot.tk - I get nothing from advertising this, but they are good value - FREE . . .)

I’ve had a good read on your website – quite reflective and yes you are living in interesting times

Having read your history, that you have written in such a frank and open manner, I see that you are searching for the solution to your dilema... I commend you for initialising this, your history, and hope that you will receive many constructive tips to think about.

G'day Ken, Love your home page. I'll have to do the same one day. Its weird seeing you in Sailor's uniform. All the best mate.

Well done – it’s rarely easy to collect, organize and express thoughts about a complex subject, and few subjects are more complex than people. Reviewing oneself is the most challenging of tasks, the difficulty being in corralling multiple thoughts and finding suitable perspectives. The most rewarding things in life are rarely easily come-by though, even if they’re the simplest to find, and so I guess you’ve found the expression of your thoughts to be cathartic. I hope so.
I can relate with many of those thoughts, as most people probably would also do, at times. The one I have most trouble with is the thought of your children’s estrangement. Without knowing any details, I reckon it will be temporary. Give them time.
I was slightly surprised to note the lack of reference to boating/sailing amongst your thoughts. I remember with warmth our time competing together, and would happily repeat those shared experiences...
(By Ken - Thanks for your comments and your own update Martin. Your'e right - my sailing days were great fun, and I too would happily jump back into a boat for more of the same. I have updated my 'memories' page. Thanks)
